We have a lot of kids with high goals, and wanting to make all-conference is on that list for a few." "We are going to have to step it up another notch in training to get there, but our kids have stepped up ev- ery time we have asked, so there is no reason to believe they won't put in the work," Roach added. "Our kids were very willing to push when we asked them to push. We kind of singled out kids throughout the race that we needed to catch and pass to give them practice at find- ing what we needed to do to win as a team. When we asked, our kids delivered. It's a good thing knowing that, come sectional, we can figure out what we need to get our team where we need to go and the kids will be willing to do it." SOMETHING NEWSWORTHY?
