Surface mining and reclamation activities occurred on this permit from 1984 through 2022. The Phase I bond release request is made pursuant to Indiana Code 14-34-6-7 and 312 Indiana Administra- tive Code 25-5-16 and is based upon the completion of fi nal grading, replacement of subsoil and topsoil, and establishment of drainage control as specifi ed in each permit's approved reclamation plan.
