Born in Cleveland County on March 29, 1940, he was a son of the late William Reece White and Maggie Lou Wright White. Mr. White served our coun- try in the US Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Carol Green White; two sons, Reece White and Mark White all of Shelby; one brother, Dale White and wife, Delores of Boiling Springs; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
