FAITH George Raymond Faith, 71, passed away at his residence in Petersburg, on June 8, 2022, to be with our Heavenly Father and the love of his life, Betty Lou Faith. He was bor n October 1, 1950, to Har vey and Selma (Archer) Faith. He attended Odon High School and the Indiana Barber School. He had sev- eral dif ferent occupations during his life - his favorites were being a barber and, later on, a minister. He attended Faithway Church in Washington, and went on to become the minister of the Knights Chapel Church, in Oatsville, for the past seventeen years. He is sur vived by his two children, George "Tony" (Jodie Dawn) Faith and Angie (Byron) Maxfield; brothers, David (Debbie) Faith, and Frank (Marsha) Faith; sisters, Nancy (Ed) Ferguson, and Rosa (Carl) Mischler; eight grandchil- dren; and nine great-grand- children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Har vey and Selma Faith; and two sisters, Mar y Cissell and Elaine Faith. A graveside ser vice will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, in the St. John Cemeter y, with Pastor Adam Cissell of ficiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www. edleemor tuar y.com. Barrett, 80, of Winslow, Indiana went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born April 7, 1942 to his parents, the late, Everett and Thelma (Williams) Barrett. Donald loved his family dear- ly and cherished the relation- ships he had with classmates, co-workers, and friends. Donald worked as a coal miner and mechanic for most of his adult life. He was a member of the Winslow Amer- ican Legion Post #115 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Donald is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dwayne Barrett; and two brothers, Wendell Eugene Barrett and Hubert Anthony Barrett. Donald is sur vived by his daughter, Donna Barrett Woods, special sons, Steven (Estralita) Barrett and Allen (Sara) Barrett, brothers, Ken- neth Barrett and David Bar- rett (Sonya); sisters, Kathleen Torres (Felix), Marlene Pugh (Bob); three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. LambBasham.com ANTHONY "TONY" ROSS DOWNEN Anthony "Tony" Ross Downen, 63, passed away June 11, 2022, at his home with his family at his side. Tony was born on Decem- ber 29, 1958, to Samuel and Hazle (Thorne) Downen. He was a 1977 graduate of South Knox High School and of the Christian Faith. He was a farmer all of his life, loved trucking in his Peter- bilt, loved tractor pulling and raising cattle, and the many cookouts at home with his family and friends. He was also a member of the Palymra Township Advisor y Board and the Eagles at Bicknell. Tony loved Kylee Ann with all of his heart and since the day she was born she had papaw wrapped around her finger. Papaw taught her how to take care of the land, farming, driving tractors, taking care of livestock and many other lessons she will treasure. He is sur vived by his wife, Carolyn (Kidwell) Downen, whom he married on December 22, 2000; grand- daughter, Kylee Ann Ar vin; his siblings, Vic (Karen) Downen, Mar tha "Duf fer" Downen, of Vincennes, Gloria Worland, of Linton, Georgia (Al) Stasulis, of Miss., Sandy Hall, of Ala., John Downen, of N. Y., and Jennifer Daily and her son Car ter, of Vincennes; his sister-in-law, Carol Downen, of Wheatland; and several nieces, nephews, great-niec- es and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sam- my Downen, Robert Downen, Paul Downen, Royal Downen; and his sisters, Rachel Lowe and Mar y Abigail Downen. Funeral ser vice will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broad- way, Vincennes, with Darrel Bobe officiating. He will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemeter y. Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 pm on Thursday, at the Funeral Home. KENNETH A EIDE Kenneth A Eide passed away on May 26, 2022, at Good Samaritan Home and Rehabilitation Center, in Oakland City. He was born in Wisc. on Feb 3, 1945, to Kenneth Kus- serow Sr. and Irene (Wolfe) Kusserow. Irene later married Victor Eide who adopted Ken when he was a young child. He spent many of his years in Wisc. where enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising his children. He graduated from Holmen High School where he loved playing football, basketball, and being in track. After graduation he attended Luther College, The University of Wisc., and School of Engineering. He moved to Indiana in 1989 and later started working for Matrix Integration in Jasper as a computer technician until he retired. He and Rita (Wuertz) exchanged vows on Jun 7, 2003. They moved to the countryside in Petersburg where he enjoyed his passion for fishing and nature. He was always thrilled to see a new species of birds making their way to the feeders or nesting in one of his several bird houses. He was a member of Glezen Revival Center in Petersburg. He leaves behind his son, Kevin (Heather) Eide, of Wisc.; his daughter, Krista (Eric) Eng- holdt, of Wisc.; eight grandchil- dren; his sisters, Sharon (Dan) McHugh, of Wisc., Cindy (Lee) Ford, of Iowa and Rita; four step-children, Tiffany (Les) Os- born, of Petersburg, Cameron (Wendy) Fields, of Fla., Shawna (Dave) Hurst, of Vincennes, and Amanda (Jamie) Walls, of Petersburg; several step-grand- children; several step-great grandchildren; half-sister, Valerie (Jim) Voigt, of Minn., half-brothers, Steve (Connie) Kusserow, of N.M. and Terry (Algria) Kusserow, of Colo. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Nancy (Jim) Wescott, of Texas; and half-brother, Ralph Kusserow, of Minn. There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at O. D. Harris and Sons Funeral Home, in Petersburg. Burial of his ashes will follow at Sugarland Memory Gardens, in Washington. A lun- cheon will follow at the Washing- ton Church of Christ Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until service time, at the funeral home. JOHN F. BR ANDLE, JR John F. Brandle, Jr, 59, of Stendal, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at his home. He was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 22, 1962, to the late Wanda and John F. Brandle, Sr. He was a United States Army veteran, who worked for 30 years at Crescent Plastics and retained the position of a super visor. A man of ver y strong faith, he enjoyed living in the countr y and spending time with his family. He was a ver y ar tistic man and could often be found outdoors among nature. The family's two dogs, Br uno and Obi were a big par t of his life. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and nephew who will be greatly missed. He is sur vived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy (Coleman) Brandle, of Stendal; daughter, Grace Brandle, of Stendal; sons, Samuel Brandle and Joshua Brandle, both of Indianapolis; sisters, Doreda (Mike) Birdwell, Lisa Bran- dle, Mar y Brandle and Teresa (Jim) Martin; brother, James Brandle; aunts; uncles; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. A gathering for friends and family will be at 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.
