Peter and Paul were excited to take a break from ILEARN and spend time learning about how we can take care of our Earth! Fort Branch Community School TWIGS OF THE WEEK CALENDAR Tuesday, May 3: 1st Grade Field Trip; Spring Concert 6 p.m. (1st, 3rd, 5th, MS Choir and Bells of Harmony). Thursday. May 5: Jr. Titan Track vs. Evansville Christian 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7: Jr. Titan Track PAC at Tell City 9 a.m. Sunday, May 8: Moth- er's Day Monday, May 9: Snow Make-up Day, NO SCHOOL; P TSA Meeting 5:30 p.m. Library. MENU Tuesday, May 3: Chicken on the beach, salsa with chips, refried beans, romaine salad, strawberries and milk. Wednesday, May 4: Popcorn chicken, mac and cheese, steamed broccoli, celery, hot roll, peaches and milk. Thursday, May 5: Ta- co burger, baked fries, romaine salad, carrot sticks, apple slices and milk. Friday, May 6: Stuffed crust cheese pizza, corn, green beans, fruit cock- tail and milk. Monday. May 9: NO SCHOOL. Tuesday, May 10: Nacho supreme, refried beans, romaine salad, salsa, sidekicks and milk. Mr. Mills chose Shy- anne Stiles for the K-2 Twig of the Week. Shy- anne has had a fantas- tic year in kindergarten! She always shows up with a positive attitude and always works hard in class. Shyanne is the kind of person everyone loves to be around. She has a bright future and will make a great Twig/ Titan! Dr. Humbaugh chose Keelee Creasey as the 3-5 Twig of the Week. Keelee always works hard at improving her grades and studies nightly with her grand- mother. She is see- ing her Social Stud- ies grade climb up to an "A". She is a posi- tive person that always smiles and speaks po- litely to classmates and adults. She has been a great role model and an excellent addition to the Twig family. Fort Branch school is lucky to have her. Keep up the great work and continue to push for all A's! Mrs. Snow chose 6th grader Elijah Warner for the Middle School Twig of the Week. Elijah is a great leader in the 6th grade. He is a positive influence for his peers as well as reliable, re- sponsible, and mature. I can always count on him to make the right choices even when no one is looking. He is a great classmate to his peers, and always will- ing to help out in any way he can. I am confi- dent that Elijah will do great things in the next two years as a leader in our middle school! Best friends, Kaelyn and Avery, were picking beau- tiful bouquets of clovers and pretending to be at a wedding. The girls are kindergarten students. Mrs. Williamson's kindergarten class picked up trash to clean up the Earth. 3rd graders Aubrey and Lydia sit- ting on the steps at William Henry Harrison's house, in Vincennes.
