In the 50 free where he posted a time of 28.5, which was only 0.35 seconds out of first, and the 50 breaststroke where he had a time 38.03. The Chargers also had two third places. Markis Hutchin- son placed third in diving, and DeCoursey placed third in the 50 backstroke with a time of 52.97. In the girls meet, Easton Bailey and Kylee Weathers had the top finishes, as both had individual seconds. Bailey was runner up in the 50 back with a time of 42.02, while Weathers was second in the 100 free with a time of 1:24.65. The Lady Chargers had several third place finishes. Hope Meny was third in the 50 breast with a time of 46.8. Lindsey Woods was third in the 50 back at 44.28. The 400 free relay team of Bailey, Weathers, Kylie Mey- er and Meny placed third in 5:59.26. The 200 relay team of Mey- er, Woods, Weathers and Christin Wenzel also placed third in 2:43.13. PC BOYS AND GIRLS FALL TO PATRIOTS Pike Central's boys and girls teams both lost to Her- itage Hills in a dual meet at Heritage Hills last Thursday. The boys score was 106 to 61, and the girls 118 to 50. Pike Central's boys were led by Jacoby Smith and Awstyn Luff both had three first place finishes. Smith won the 50 free in 28.12 more than three sec- onds ahead of second place. He also won the 100 breast in a time of 37.64 more than six seconds ahead of second place. He was also a member of the first place 200 free relay team of Luff, Tyler Collins and Joshua Smith. They won in a time of 2:14.05, which was nine seconds ahead of second place. Luff the 100 individual med- ley in a time of 1:09.42. He was 22 seconds ahead of second. He also won the 50 fly in a time of 29.16, which is four seconds faster than second place. The team of Julian Hays, Jacoby Smith, Luff and Tyler Collins placed second in the 200 medley relay in 2:29.62. Markis Hutchinson placed second in diving and third in the 50 backstroke. Collins added third place in the 100 free. Kylie Meyer brought home the Lady Chargers lone first place in the 50 fly with a time 45.73. Easton Bailey had an indi- vidual second place in the 50 back in a time of 39.12. She was just .42 second out of first place. Hope Meny also had a sec- ond in the 50 breast in 47.84. Kylee Weathers placed sec- ond in the 100 IM with a time of 1:39.19, and a third in the 100 free in 1:25.14. Kaydee Simms was third in the 50 free in 41.16. Lind- sey Woods was third in the 50 back in 43.75. K.J. Wood was third in diving. The 200 medley relay team of Bailey, Meny, Meyer and Sims placed second with a time of 2:41.91.
