NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED INCREASE IN WATERWORKS RATES AND CHARGES FOR THE CITY OF PETERSBURG, INDIANA Property owners in the City of Petersburg, Indiana (the "City") and other interested parties, are hereby notified that an ordinance increasing the rates and charges for services to be rendered by the waterworks utility system owned and operated by the City (the "Rate Ordinance") was introduced at a meeting of the Common Council of the City (the "Common Council") held on February 22, 2022. A public hearing of the Common Council will be held at 6:30 p.m., local time, on March 7, 2022, in the Council Meeting room at the City Hall, located at 702 E. Alford St.) in Petersburg, IN to be scheduled as follows; Two times in April thru October. Mowing/trimming of Coleman Cemetery, located on Meridian Rd. in Monroe Township (ere are two Coleman Cemeteries in Pike County, call if unsure of location) to be scheduled as follows: One time in April, two times each month in May and June and one time in July, August, September & October. If the locations require additional mowing during these months, it must be approved by the Commissioner's office.
