From untimely deaths of loved ones, to diseases and illnesses like covid, to natural disasters and more, life just isn't fair. BUT…we have a God who cares about our circumstanc- es and who provides for our needs, physically, emotional- ly and spiritually. We find assurance and con- fidence in God's Word in pas- sages like this one: Lamentations 3:22-24 —Be- cause of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The LORD is my por- tion; therefore I will wait for Him." Feb. 24-27: Youth Conven- tion with Evangelist: Rev. Steve Malone. In a society where so ma- ny people claim to be Chris- tians, yet show so little proof of being one, it is refreshing to meet people that live a Chris- tian life so exemplary that you don't have to wonder if they are Christians. Everything about them reflects the im- age of Christ. It is even more beautiful to listen to them speak of the things of God, with such joy. It thrills the heart of a young Christian to find out they have been living the Christian life for almost 60 years and they love Jesus more now than ever. I thank God for "old saints" and pray that He will help us live the same testimony should He bless us with a long life. "O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hith- erto have I declared thy won- derous works. Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy pow- er to every one that is to come" (Psalm 71:17,18). Help yourself to "FREE FOOD" and may God Bless all of you. I sometimes think back to when a person or persons would come up to me and wanted to know if I had ac- cepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I would walk almost run away from them, because I didn't want anything to do with them. I was happy in my own little sinful world. (I thought—man was I wrong). You see, we sometimes don't want to know the Lord, be- cause we don't want to change our way of living. This makes us believe that we are not wor- thy to walk with Jesus. But this isn't how it works. We are all worthy of the LOVE of Jesus, after all, He made us. Genesis 1:26. When we become born again believ- ers, I don't now how, but the Holy Spirit of God enters in- to our soul to live inside us, and miraculously we change the way we live. This will only happen if we are truly saved. You will know if the Holy spir- it enters you because you will have a whole new outlook on life: your friends you keep and your bad habits. Love, faith and hope will give you the power to do all things in the name of Jesus. I heard in a movie, this man's line was: If your right about there not being a God and we just die and that's it. Then we have nothing to lose. But if I am right and there is a God, and His judgments are true and just. You have every- thing to lose. Some verses to read: I Cor- inthians 13:13, John 3:3 and John 14:16. It will help in your walk with Christ, if you will read five Psalms and one Proverb ev- ery day. Plus, read and study the whole Bible religiously. Denny Wiscaver, Pastor David Sattler, Reporter
