IN STOCK NEW DISC GOLF COURSE IN OAKLAND CITY A new disc golf course at Oakland City New Lake hosted the two-round final 2021 South- ern Indiana Fall Fundraiser Series. The overall points champion was Jason Reece. First- place division winners included Christopher Baker, Nelson Cano, Jason Reece, Keven Nutt, Ronald Litton, Rich Beedle, Ryan Bosler, Taylor Williams, Joe Keith, Jaima Cart- wright, Alli Kell, Lauren McKanna, Dan Garland and Noah Robertson. The New Lake course is considered a challenging intermediate level course that finished construction in late summer. YETIS PLACE FIFTH AT THE SANTA BOWL Pike County had some players on the Yetis flag football team, who competed in the seven-on-seven Indianapolis Flag Football Santa Bowl on Sunday, December 19. The Yetis team placed fifth out of 10 teams in the tournament. The Yetis were started by players John and Hayden Cole, of Petersburg, Bo Daves, of Cato, and Clay Lech- ner, of Jasper. The Yetis team competed in three tournaments over the course of 2021 and practiced weekly.
