Graham Street • Shelby, NC NO UPFRONT ATTORNEY NO UPFRONT ATTORNEY FEES FOR FILING CHAPTER 13 FEES FOR FILING CHAPTER 13 The full moon was so bright earlier this month that it woke me up about four o'clock in the morning. Normally that doesn't happen. But my wife and I had left the blinds open. Then, I rolled over on my right side, facing the window which I rarely do. I usually sleep on my stomach. Finally, the moon reached just the right position in the night sky so that its moonbeam was literally at the perfect angle to shine on me. A rather strange happening, wouldn't you say? Three different things converged perfectly to wake me up or else I would have missed the brilliant moonlight. Sometimes life gets bright like that, doesn't it? But maybe you didn't open the blinds to your mind so the light can get through. Or, maybe you turn your back on some very bright opportunities because you're afraid of failing. Or, maybe you don't see the perfect angle on a situation because you're not in the best position. Today, open and turn yourself so you Live Positive clearly and enjoy the best your life has to offer. How bright is your life? Visitors to the exhibit will learn about the building styles and tools used by these indi- viduals, as well as African folkways and traditions. The Historic Preserva- tion Foundation of North Carolina produced the exhibition in cooperation with the Gallery of Art & Design at North Carolina State University. In addition, co-curators Chavis Gash and the Earl Scruggs Center's Zach Dressel present Redefin- ing Builders: The African American Communities of Cleveland County, as part of the new special exhibi- tion. This portion of the exhibition transitions the discussion from traditional builders to transforma- tional builders of com- munities. It documents how African Americans built vibrant communities filled with churches, civic organizations, and busi- nesses throughout Cleve- land County. The new special exhi- bition will open to the pub- lic on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 and run through August 7, 2021. The Earl Scruggs Center offers free admission to Cleve- land County residents each Wednesday, and to Cleveland County k-12 students plus one accom- panying guest at all times. Programming associated with the exhibition will be announced through the Earl Scruggs Center's website and social media pages. This special exhibition is made possible through the generous support of the City of Shelby, the Duke Energy Foundation, and a number of commu- nity individuals, organiza- tions and businesses. Earl Scruggs Center announces: New Special Exhibition For we wrestle not against fl esh and blood, but against principalities, against pow- ers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:12-13
