Born in Cleveland County, NC on June 23, 1939, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Grier and Mozelle Scism Grier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Cook and Carlos Mull; a son, Ted Cook, Sr. and several brothers. JOHN DAVID STAMEY John David Stamey, 93, of Lawndale, passed away January 16, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby. Born in Lincoln County, on August 1, 1927, he was the son of the late Gerard Henry Stamey and Susan Prue Beam Stamey. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Stamey. He is survived by his spe- cial friend Pauline Swink of Lawndale. Mr Stamey served our country in US Army.
