Three-point goal: 1 Staggs South Knox downs PC sixth grade The Pike Central sixth grade Lady Chargers went into halftime down 14-4, but then failed to score in the next two periods to fall 26 -4 to the visiting South Knox Spartans last Saturday morning. Alys- sa McCutchan got a basket in the second quarter and then hit two of two from the line for the only Charger score. South Knox was a real spoiler for the Lady Chargers in their season opener, while the Lady Spar- tans had three games under their belts. Lady Spartan Kalissa Lave- ly knocked down five baskets to lead her team. Lady Spartan Ellie Burke was the top scor- er in the short 16 -2 B team win that followed. The sixth grade girls in- clude Alyssa McCutchan, Ara Miller, Sadie Willis, Ame- lia Adams, Addison Young, Kady Gideon, Avery Meece, Kathryn Neal, Paegen Knepp, Karly Gideon and Magdelin Thompson.
