They are best described by Joe Kendrick of WNCW as "The cure for lethargy." Gold Card holders are admitted FREE. Guest tickets are $20 each. Please contact Mary Hamrick at 704/481-7385 to make a reservation and purchase tickets. All reservations and ticket purchases must be made in advance and no tickets will be available at the door. Deadline for reservations and ticket purchases is Monday, October 5, at 2PM. The 2020 "Gold Club Event" welcomes back "THE DANCING FLEAS" SAVE THE DATE!!! The Neal Center's food pantry has a big problem…. ……but, it's a GOOD problem! Because we've served so many in need….. OUR FOOD PANTRY IS NEARLY EMPTY! PLEASE HELP US REFILL IT! Thank you to everyone in the community who answered the call in supporting the Neal Center's food pantry and "Meals-on-Wheels" program with your monetary and food donations! Currently, we are in need of these items for our homebound: Vienna sausages, miniature canned hams, salmon, beef stew, corned beef, saltine crackers, canned fruits and vegetables, shelf-stable pasta, spaghetti sauce, rice, noodles, cereal and oatmeal. Please be sure that the items being donated are well within their expiration dates on the item. Items donated to the center that have expired cannot be given out. We are unable to accept refrigerated items. If you'd prefer making a cash donation, it would be very welcome! When writing your check, be sure to indicate that your donation is for "The Food Pantry". While our facility is still closed to the public, we are able to accept donations, Monday – Thursday, from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. Please call us at 704-482-3488 to arrange a time to drop off your donation. THINK YOU DON'T NEED A FLU SHOT? THINK AGAIN! ...but neither is getting the flu!
