Gaffney: Sidney Ray Byers Sr., born on December 24, 1941 to the late Tom and Rosa Byers. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tom Byars, Jr., Frank Byars, Broadus Byars, Davis Byars, Nannie Snellings, Tony Mae "Jack" Peeler, and Lanelle Dawkins. Mayes of Woodruff, SC; his sons, Sidney Jr. (Shari) Byers of Cowpens, SC, Renaurd (Joyce) Byers of Charlotte NC, Eddie Davis (Pansy) of Shelby, NC; daughters, Charlene Santiago of Gaffney, SC and Cynthia Santiago of Spartanburg, SC; for- mer wife Annette Byers of Gaffney; Travis Santiago, Della Dawkins and Meka Austin reared as children, a special friend, Shirley Wood and Preston Wood; and ten grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren. Services will be private. NATHANIEL JAY JOSE REYNON Nathaniel Jay Jose Reynon, 21, of Lawndale, NC, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020, taken too soon but all according to God's plan. He was born in Paranaque City, Philippines on September 4, 1999. He was the son of Ferdinand Joy Parbo Reynon and Gloria Tuazon Jose Reynon of the Philippines. Nathan served our coun- RODNEY EUGENE KEE Rodney Eugene Kee, 55, of Shelby, passed away Sunday, September 20th, 2020, at Atrium Health Cleveland. Born in Shelby, he was the son of the late James McGill and Katherine Thompson Kee. Mr. Kee is survived by three sisters, Samantha Kee, Libby Corry and Kelo Walker. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tracy Kee and Shawn Kee, and one sister, Sondra Kee. Funeral services were held Friday, September 25, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Alvin Lockhart, Dr. Larry J. Brooks, and a cousin, Minister Washina Fowler White officiating. JOSEPH W. "JOE" TESSENEER, III Joseph W. "Joe" Tesseneer, III, 53 years old died on September 13, 2020. Joe resided in Batesburg, SC. Born on September 23, 1966 in Kings Mountain, NC, he was the son of Joseph W. "Joe" Tesseneer, Jr. and the late Judy Marr Tesseneer. Joe is survived by his father of Kings Mountain; his girlfriend, Sherry Gulledge of Batesburg; and his sis- ter and her husband, Sandra "Sandy" and Eric Willis of Vine Grove, KY. CORNELIA HINES DURHAM Cherryville - Cornelia Hines Durham, 91, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Peak Resources of Cherryville. Born in Cleveland County, NC on February 1, 1946, he was the son of the late Oscar Newton Jones and Essie Mae Moses Tesseneer. Roy served our country in the US Army during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he was pre- ceded in death by a sister, Ola Mae Seagle. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Brenda Crotts Jones; two sons, Phillip Jones of Pinnacle and Chad Jones and wife, Melissa of Shelby; four grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Ryan Jones, Connor Jones and Mackenzie Jones and a sister, Etta Chadwick and husband, Bob of Shelby.
