Tom was survived by his precious daughters, Pamela and Stacie, beautiful grand- daughters Giana and Carly, sons of love, Brent and Russ, and sister Lynn. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Cathi, his parents, Thomas and Edith, and big sister Lee. He served our country in the U.S. Army. Pleasant, SC at the age of 90 years old. Growing up in Kinston NC is where he met, fell in love with and married the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" Brinkley Harris. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam Conflict. Dr. Harris is sur- vived by his loving wife of 63 years Patricia "Pat" Harris, Daughter Michelle Broadway, Son in law Michael and granddaughter Megan Broadway. His son Craig Harris, daughter in law Raffia and their granddaugh- ter Blakely Hughes, husband Justin and great grandchil- dren Liam, Nora and Finn and grandson Craig Harris Jr, wife Hayley and great SARAH NICOLE LOUISE WILSON Sarah Nicole Louise Wilson, 9, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 8, 2020 at Atrium Kings Mountain. She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, and was preceded in death by her Great-Grandparents, Marion Wilson and Frank and Sarah Sisler. Survivors: Parents: William and Brenda Wilson Sisler, of the home; Siblings: Destiny Long, Anakin Long, Joseph Long, Philip Sisler (Magan) and Jessica Long (Donald); Grandmothers: Sheila; and Cousins: Nathan Neelon, Brentley and Easton Almond and Waylon Sisler. DORIS "LIONEL" SCHENCK Mr. Doris "Lionel" Schenck, 72, resident of Shelby Manor Assisted Living, departed this life on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby. He was born on April 23, 1948 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Charles "Boot" and Ruth Hoyle Schenck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Vernon Schenck. He is survived by chil- dren, Christopher Lee of Shelby, NC, Anthony Marcus Schenck of Greenville, SC and Shondra Kinkela of Greer, SC; sisters, Omega Spikes (Calvin), Gayla Reynolds both of Shelby and Glenora Carter (Jack) of Greensboro, NC; six grand- children and many relatives and friends. RUTH PAINTER McNEILLY Ruth Painter McNeilly, 75, of Deviney Street, Casar, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Peak Resources, Shelby. Born in Cleveland County, NC on December 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Drake Painter and Eva Pauline Price Painter. Survivors include her hus- band of 59 years, Forest Edward McNeilly; two sons, Rickey E. McNeilly of Hiddenite and Stephen "Spanky" McNeilly of Casar; two daughters, Ruth M. McFarland and husband, Dan of Lawndale and Martha Shank and husband Robert of Golden Valley, Arizona; four grandchildren, Robby Shank, Rickey Dale McNeilly, Ryan Lee McNeilly and Mandy Elizabeth Shank and a special cousin, Chuck Browning of Taunton, Mass. Born in Cleveland County on November 13, 2002 he was the son of Jack Lee and the late Sheree Swink Lee. In addition to his moth- er Brandon is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dannie Ray Canipe. Brandon is survived by his father Jack Lee and Jack's girlfriend Tori, four brothers Mason Lee, Zac, Nathan, and Kody all of Mooresboro, two sisters Kamiryn of the home and Bethany Lee Weston and her husband William of Lincolnton, one niece Emma Weston, three uncles, two aunts, and his two grandmothers, Rebecca Canipe and Jackie Mathis and one grandfather, Robert Swink, and many close fam- ily members and friends. grandchildren Maisy and Foster. She is survived by her chil- dren, Dean Melton and wife Linda of Brandon, MS, Linda Holland and husband Danny of Woodruff, SC, and Kathy Hendrick of Boiling Springs, NC, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchil- dren, two great great grand- children, two sisters, Ruth Brown and Mavin Swofford and numerous nieces and nephews. Born March 6, 1924 in Cleveland County, Madge was the daughter of the late Nathan and Hester Sigmon Hoyle and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Colon Martin Melton and a son, Wayne Melton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ayfield Hoskins, III and Ronald Hoskins.
