Born in Cleveland County on May 16, 1959 he was the son of the late Steve Clary Jr. and wife Mary Stroup Clary. He and his father were the former owners of Clary's Wrecker Service and he was a former minister. He worked as a Detention Officer for the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office. He loved his family and especially his grandkids, the highlight of his week would come on Sunday when he was able to attend church and then enjoy the company of his grandsons at their weekly dinners. Tim is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sherry Clary one son, Jody Clary and wife Kelli of Shelby, two grandsons, Easton Dale Lee Clary and Gunner Andrew Lee Clary all of Shelby, two brothers; Dennis Clary of Naples, FL and Jimmy Clary and with Katina of Myrtle Beach, SC and two sisters; Lisa Schwartz and husband Doug of Charleston, SC and Ann Newton and husband Arnold of Shelby as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service was held in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Allen Davis officiating, burial fol- lowed in Cleveland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to: Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150. all of Shelby, NC, Calvin Walton of Boiling Springs, NC and Charles Walton (Machele) of Charlotte, NC; Step-son Woodrow Walton Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Walton-Davis (Anthony) of Atlanta, GA and Valeria Walton-Willis (Allen) of Charlotte, NC; sister-in- law, Angeline Walton-Byrd (Odell) of Lawndale, NC; stepbrother-in-law, Willie Whitworth of Lawndale, NC and 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. God-Son and his wife, Harvey Hector (Claudia) of Lawndale, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Walton was private. Burial was in Lawndale First Baptist Church cemetery. GERTRUDE KITCHEN FISHER Gertrude Kitchen Fisher, age 89 of Cherryville, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Peak Resources. She was born January 13, 1931 in Transylvania County, NC, a daughter of the late Loren Kitchen, Sr. and Polly Price Kitchen. She graduated from Brevard High School, Blanton Business College, and Gaston College, and she attended Sacred Heart. Mrs. Fisher was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she served several terms on the church council and was past president of the Women of the Church. She was also a member and past matron of Cherryville Chapter 156 Order of the Eastern Star, member and past presi- dent of Cherryville Lion's Club, and was "Lion of the Year" in 1995. Gertrude was a certified professional secre- tary and retired from Carolina Freight after 25 years where she was an executive secre- tary to Mr. Grier Beam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fisher; and brothers, Gene, Harry, and Loren Kitchen, Jr. Survivors include her son, Cecil Burton Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family. Guest Registry is available at www.cecilmburtonfuneral- home.com KELVIN "BUSTER" REYNOLDS Kelvin "Buster" Reynolds, age 51, of Kings Mountain, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Kelvin was born March 24, 1969 in Cleveland County to the late William Walter Reynolds and Mary Couch Ezzell. He worked in textiles for many years and most recently worked for Hound's Campground in Kings Mountain. He enjoyed dirt track racing and was a music enthusiast. Kelvin was a very loyal, depend- able, trustworthy friend and employee. He was a kind- hearted and devoted family man. Kelvin will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Crystal Murks Reynolds. Those left to cherish his memory include his sis- ter, Nancy Detter (Ricky) and brother, Marvin Ezzell (Mialy) all of Kings Mountain; nieces, Brandy Wiley (Josh), Shera Davis and Carolyn Rhyne (Shannon); nephews, Logan and Adrian Ezzell; great-nieces and nephews, Sophia, William, Serenity, Shelby, Matthew, Lewis, Zander and several other family members and numer- ous friends. JAMES DAVID "STRETCH" LAWRENCE James David "Stretch" Lawrence, age 63, of Ostrich Lane, Cherryville, NC, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1956 in Oakland County, Michigan to the late James Winfred Lawrence and Helen Nancy Nail Martin. David was a history buff and enjoyed watching his- tory and science shows. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a welder and machin- ist. Stretch was an avid motorcyclist and loved to travel and spend time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Fay Mauney Lawrence; sons, Scott Mauney and David Mauney (Chasity); grandchildren, Shawn, Christian, Randy, Ryder, and Kira Mauney; sisters, Cathy Ammons (Randy), Patricia Furr (Joe), and Annette Vontebel (Tony); ten nieces; and four nephews. The family will hold private services at a later date. ORGAR WALTON Mrs. Orgar Walton, 93, of Lawndale, NC passed away on Thursday July 16, 2020, at Atrium Health in Lincolnton, NC. She was born on August 23, 1926 in Hartsville, SC to the late Bertha Brown Albert and Man Albert. Mrs. Walton retired from Cleveland Mills of Lawndale, NC. She also was a retired Teachers Assistant at Union Elementary School through the Adoptive Grandparents Program. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Steven Reynolds, Sr., and the daughter of the late Fred Bullocks and Joyce Ann Hardin Bullocks. Mrs. Reynolds worked in health care. Mrs. Reynolds is sur- vived by one son, Steven Reynolds, Jr. and wife, Heather; one daughter, Jessica Ann Reynolds Moriarty and husband, Shawn; three grandchildren, Peyton Brianna Reynolds, J. D. Cobb, and Tyler Cobb; one brother, Freddie Wayne Bullocks and wife, Sandy; two sisters, Tracie Bright and husband, Frank, and Charlene Carpenter and husband, Woody; and two nephews, Chase Carpenter and Morgan Bright. Mark was the son of Snooks and Margie Gibson McDaniel Yancey of Kings Mountain. He is survived by a son, Justin Smith of Wilmington, a brother, Michael McDaniel of Shelby, a sister-in-law whom he affectionately called Big Heidi, nieces, Little Heidi, Katie, and Mary, and one nephew, Adam McDaniel. He was also preceded in death by one nephew, Ben McDaniel. A time to honor Mark's memory will be announced at a later date.
