Mentored by Cleveland County's masterful instructor, Ray Ledford, Mark played folk songs, classical guitar standards, and beautiful arrangements of hymns and church songs. Now, Mark has focused his skills in a different direction. In November J. Justin Harper 2011, Mark had a life-changing journey in Michigan as he played guitar in a prayer room at the IHOP (International House of Prayer) in the city of Lansing. Almost a week later, his experience with the 24 hour assembly on Ford Field, "The Call: Detroit," gave him the opportunity to see many Christian praise and worship bands. Mark states, "These experiences led me to have a strong purpose to be involved in music used in worship of Jesus Christ." MARK LEDFORD Currently, Mark Ledford plays at various local churches with husband and wife duet, "The Nalleys." He also plays with the praise team at Shelby First Assembly of God in Shelby, NC and Redeemed Pentecostal Holiness Church near Lawndale, NC. Mark's praise band based out of Rockingham, "Judah," can be seen at events all over North Carolina. "Judah" also serves as the praise band for the worship services of 'Father's Heart Ministries,' which encourages Christians to minister exciting ways including on the street with music, in prisons, and other Outreach programs.
