Cleveland County Communicators Present Toastmaster Awards On April 2nd, 2013, Cleveland County Communicators sponsored the ToastMasters' Area 4, International Speech Contest and Table Topics Contest. The competition was held in the conference room at Hospice, Kings Mt, NC at 7:00 PM. Cleveland County Communicators had three members to place in the competition. Renee Bingham won 3rd place in the International Speech Competition. Scott Lucas won 1st place in Table Topics. Lauren Mooney won 3rd place in Table Topics. The overall winners for the International Speech Competition and Table Topics are as follows: Brewster Strope, 1st Place International Speech Competition; Bert Freeman, 2nd Place International Speech Competition; Renee Bingham, 3rd Place International Speech Competition; Scott Lucas, 1st Place Table Topics; Bert Freeman, 2nd Place Table Topics and Lauren Mooney, 3rd Place Table Topics.
