Not Picturede is Kiley Henson. Tree Donation To Commemorate Earth Day 2013 A special tree dedication ceremony was held at the corner of 112 North Dekalb and Campbell Streets on Wednesday, April 17th. The twelve foot Cryptomeria or Japanese cedar was donated by Cornerstone Dental Associates to commemorate Earth Day 2013. This tree will reach over 60 feet in height when fully grown and will provide a beautiful sight for visitors to see upon entering into the uptown area. Every year in April, more than one billion people take part in Earth Day events to protect our amazing planet we call Home. As part of its mission to protect natural lands and preserve the environment, the Earth Day Network developed The Canopy Project last year. The Canopy Project's focus is to plant trees that help communities to filter the air and help stave off the effects of climate change in their area.
