Alpha Delta Chapter met March 2 By Joan Weathers The Alpha Delta Chap- ter of Alpha Epsilon State, Delta Kappa Gamma Soci- ety International met at lo- cal restaurant in Washing- ton on March 2, 2020. Jay- na Wild welcomed everyone and Laura Craney intro- duced Deby Rodimel who lead members in some yoga exercises that could be do- ne while sitting in a chair. It was an invigorating session. Co-president Jayna Wild conducted the business meeting and Corresponding secretary, Ramona Lennen read thank you notes from the Dubois County Humane Society, PAWS from Peters- burg, and the Martin Coun- ty Humane Society. During reports from com- mittees, it was noted that Scholarship information has been sent to all the schools. Jayna read the slate of offi- cers for 2020 -2022 which include: President: Joan Weathers, 1st Vice Presi- dent: Kristen O'Haver, 2nd Vice President: Martha Wis- caver, Recording Secretary: Peg Neidigh, Correspond- ing Secretary: Julie Parr, Treasurer: Ronetta Bough, and Parliamentarian: Sue Gray. Several congratulations were noted at the meeting. Elizabeth Schaffer's hus- band received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the IN State Poultry Associ- ation. Stephanie O'Brian's band students won many awards at state competi- tions. Congratulations were also given to the Loogootee Lions girls' basketball team for winning the state tour- nament.
