One team qualified for the state final in their first com- petition of the year. In all, they had five teams in the top four positions. "We had an awesome day in Sey- mour," said team sponsor Terra Knust. Out of 45 teams in the competition, Petersburg's Flaming Dragons finished first in the teamwork cham- pions. Their first place fin- ish qualifies them for the State Finals in Lucas Oil Stadium later this year. Members of the Flaming Dragons are Draven Rea- dle, Llinkyn Knust, Land- on Harvey, Eli Arnold and Callie Craig. Knust and Pink Popcorn member Tyler Collins were teammates this year. They said this year's competi- tion tasks are more difficult than last year. They said this year you have to push things around and hang the device in the air. Last year, it involved stacking. Pink Pegasus finished second and received the Judges Award. Members of the Pink Pegasus are Elle Readle, Loralei Hoskins, Avery Meece, Kady Gide- on and Eva Cox. Other teams finishing in the top five from PES were Pink Popcorn and Dabbing Einsteins, who competed together in a coalition com- petition, finished third, and Sour Power finished fourth. Petersburg will be host- ing a competition on De- cember 14. Admission to the event is free. Knust said they would love to have lo- cal support in the competi- tion.
