Through a classroom donation, each student receives a new book to take home. The book for September is, "If You Give a Mouse a Brownie." First graders Rayne Stafford, Daisy Williams and Nola Thompson stop to smile for the camera in the hall after art class. Gloryanna Sallee, Bella Thompson and Kadon Hickman do their classroom work on their laptops. Jace Kaeck gets to sit in the easy chair to work on his laptop lesson. In science, students made models of a heron's beak and a cardinal's beak. The question is which beak will break seeds better? "Oh, the places you'll go." Start setting your goals in elementary school. Tues- day—Burgundy and Gold Day. "PC is your next stop on the way to reaching your goals." Wednesday—Cra- zy sock day. "Put your best foot forward." Thursday— College shirt day. "Support your favorite college. Wear any college shirt or jersey." Sept. 27– NO SCHOOL, Flex Learning Day. Otwell Miller Academy
