Over 300 items were collected to make up bas- kets. The E- Learning assignment was to write a report about George HW Bush for sixth grade Social Studies on the day of his funeral. Sixth grade Homeroom winners were Steven Ennis, Lakin Sorgius, Car- ley Johnson, Parker Knust, Tanner Shelton and Kaitlyn Miller. Overall sixth grade winner was Parker Knust. Mrs. Shedd's classroom presented a Thanksgiv- ing play, "The Meal Must Go On". Cast members were, front row: Ava Seger, Adalynn Martin, Ko- dee Aydelott, Ady LeMond, Natalie Russell, So- phia Clark, Maddison Braunecker, Nevaeh Fer- guson. Back row: Xavier Shelton, Kadyn Dupin, Gemma Gonzales, Eli Woolsey, Tate Pauw, Cai- san Russell, Axel Nalley, Gabe Wininger, Tucker Thompson. Tucker Thompson is the Thanksgiving turkey, Ady LeMond is the cranberry sauce, Caisan Rus- sell is the mashed potatoes and Tate Pauw is the pumpkin pie in their first grade Thanksgiving play. First grade teacher Susan Craig gives a sled to the student in her class closest to predicting the first snow. This year Briar Bruce is the lucky win- ner. John Wade and Leo Oxley tell the students about the maple syrup making process. Wade and Oxley tap maple trees every fall and make syrup. Ian Woolsey and Gemma Gonzales play the parts of grandma and grandpa in their class- room's Thanksgiving play. The class performed the play for other classrooms and for their par- ents. Eighth grade Homeroom Spelling Bee winners were Aaron Kuhn, Braden Fetcher, Fenton McCrary, Gavin Pancake, Tyrus Schoppenhorst and Eleanor McGuire. Overall 8th Grade winner was Eleanor McGuire. Mr. Ivan Mason's sixth grade Social Studies classes are working on maps of Canada. The stu- dents started studying Canada on November 30 and are mapping the provinces and territories. Seventh grade Homeroom winners were Dylan Charles, Tiana Lawrence, Savanah Ingle, Brean- na Britton, Brooklyn Kirby, and Camden Gun- drum (not pictured). Overall seventh grade win- ner was Tiana Lawrence. MENU Thursday, December 20 : Pig in a blanket, seasoned fries and steamed broccoli and Chortles graham crack- ers. Friday, December 21: Hol- iday chicken nuggets, din- ner roll, mashed potatoes, green beans and a holiday cookie.
