STACY WORTHINGTON Stacy Worthington was appointed by the Winslow Town Council to replace for- mer Clerk-Treasurer Beth Bennett after Bennett re- signed in March of this year. Worthington is a licensed real estate broker. She grad- uated from Lafayette Jeffer- son High School. She is a member of the Pike Coun- ty Economic Development Corporation. Her daughter, Samantha, is a student at the Indiana Academy. "I want to give the citizens of Winslow someone who is honest, has integrity and I will do the best job I can do for the people of Winslow," said Worthington about why she was running for Clerk- Treasurer. She said her goals are to continue learning. "I'm learning something every- day. I want to continue to in- crease the amount of things I learn and do." She added, "They are wanting me to come into compliance with ADA and Title 6. I have a binder full of things I have learned in the last three or four days. It is just part of being clerk, you learn things everyday and I will continue to learn more everyday." Worthington said people should vote for her because, "I will do a good job for the taxpayers. I have good integ- rity and good work ethics." TRISHA BOTTOMS Trisha Bottoms did not re- spond to inquiries by letter and phone for an interview. See the Winslow Town Council race on the next page.
