Good Samaritan is proud to welcome a new physician to our oncology team, Cassandra Lacher, DO. Dr. Lacher's love for science and people led her to becoming a physician. "I've come to appreciate that the specialty of hematology and oncology really allows me to do all the things that I love," said Dr. Lacher. "I am able to care for people during vulnerable and difficult times and provide people with the support they need to meet their goals, and provide comfort and hope even in the most dark and scary situations." Dr. Lacher and her husband, Marcus, reside in Vincennes with their two sons. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Lacher enjoys being involved with her church, singing and playing the bass guitar, playing board games, spending time with her family and watching St. Louis Cardinals games.
