CALENDER September 5, 12, 19 and 26 – Early Dismissal. September 10 – Mid-term reports. September 11 – Patriot's Day – We will show support to those who lost their lives on 9/11 and to honor the heroes who worked to save them by wearing red, white and blue. We will also have a moment of silence at 8:45 a.m. September 13, 20, 27 – J.A.M. Club for third and fourth grades. September 13 and 14 – Used Book Sale in library. September 15 – Winslow Community Festival and Light-up Parade. September 21 – Fourth grade field trip to Lincoln State Park. September 24 – Flex Day – No school for students – E-learning day. September 25 – P TO Meeting 3:30 p.m. – Group Room. September 25 -28 – Col- lege Go Week – Dress up days to be announced. September 28 – Final Fri- day/Popcorn Friday – P TO will be selling popcorn the final Fridays of each month for 50 cents. Student Council Dress-up Friday – Wear plaid. Third grade time is 9 a.m.-10 a.m. and fourth grade time is 10 :15 a.m.-11:15 a.m. Sept. 7 – Peer Mediator training. Sept. 11 – In honor of the 9/11 victims, their family members, survivors, rescue workers and volunteers, we are wearing red, white and blue, and will have a special moment of silence. Sept. 12 – Monthly perfect attendance award. Sept. 13 – Students/Staff wear your 'BE' shirts. Sept. 14 – Internation- al Dot Day, everyone wear something with a dot today. Sept. 24 – NO SCHOOL, Flex Learning Day. Sept. 25 -28 – Second grade will celebrate "John- ny Appleseed Week." College Go Week A week of information and activities revolving around college planning. Informa- tion will come home with students. Tuesday-Wear Indian col- ors (red & white)! "Oh, the places you'll go! " Start set- ting your goals in elementa- ry school! Wednesday-Burgundy & Gold Day! This year's challenge is called Next Level, and involves placing and stacking hubs, and hanging the robot from a pole.
