Third place Township trustee forged email to help secure approval of budget Staff The Republic (Columbus) Comments: Though the paper had the advantage of being involved with the subject matter, it did an exceptional job of giving a detailed account of a public official's manufacture of a fraudulent email to secure public funding. The paper made excellent use of breakout boxes, timelines and layout.
