Division 4 Best Editorial Page/Category 22 First place Opinion Staff Daily Journal (Franklin) Comments: Strong content, especially editorials. (Would drop column rules within articles but add rules between articles.) Second place Opinion Grace Housholder, Dennis Nartker & Carol Ernsberger The News-Sun (Kendallville) Comments: Fine design, except for letters policy boxed beside cartoon at top of page. Tone of editorials a bit timid. Third Place Opinion Misty Knisely Pharos-Tribune (Logansport) Comments: Good content, especially Public Forum. But layout of Our View might be toned down a bit with a roman headline, less leading and no hyphenation. Pullout photos of houses add a lot to graphics. Second place President's Day; Taylor coach; Flood coverage Chuck Fetterhoff & Sarah Emge Chronicle-Tribune (Marion) Comments: Good job.
