Under the preferred alternative, the proposed project would involve removal of Pike County Bridge No. 297 (Bridge 297), which is currently closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic. It is the project intent that Pike County Bridge 150 is rehabilitated and placed in the current location of Bridge 297 to establish a new pedestrian crossing along Petersburg's F.I.T. Trail. e project involves impacts below Pride's Creek's Ordinary High Water Mark, and requires less than one acre of new right of way. No business or residential relocations are required.
