'Wreck it Ralph' won't disappoint Arts & Rebecca Blanchard Opinions Editor For what is likely the first time in many years, the creators of "Wreck It Ralph" designed, cast and animated a truly original movie. This delightfully comedic romp stars John C. Reilly as Ralph, and Sarah Silverman as Vanellope. Ralph, as well as much of this movie, represents a large portion of today's civilization. For the past 30 years, he has been doing what has to be done, while being disgraced for doing it. No credit is given to him, as his life is not in the limelight. His life is as sour as a lemon. Thus his life, and Ralph decided to do what many sought after yet so few do, he made the lemonade. This is where the common man's hope of a refreshing sip of life comes to an end only to be replaced with dull, lukewarm water. Few dare to risk everything, a squirt of lemon in their eye, not enough sugar or the contrary, too much sugar. This is due to the fact that so few will delegate the stirring and measuring and so forth and such. Whether he realized it or not, Ralph gathered the ingredients. The sour, bitter lemon that is King candy added the movies zesty flavor, Vanellope makes the movie sweet with sugar, Felix Jr, played by Jack McBrayer, joined with Jane Lynch, or Calhoun in the movie to make the cool ice, because what overly cheesy love interest isn't cool. Ralph just wants his lemonade, just one sip to dilute into his water to make his life sweeter. In a paralleled life, or game in this case, Vanellope wants the same. The difference being Ralph was given a lemon, Vanellope was only given a pitcher. Neither could 'Rhapsody' should be your number one choice for music apps Natalie Almond Ad Director When it comes to getting ahold of music, there are many options for where to download it. Some methods are legal, while others are not. Usually when you think legal downloading, the first thing that comes to mind is iTunes. However, there are other programs out there. "Rhapsody" is what I have been using for years on my computer. Now, there is an app available, so it seemed natural to try it out. There are pros and cons to it, as there are with all apps, but overall it's a very good alternative. So, the ultimate question- how much does it cost? It is surprisingly affordable. It's ten dollars a month for up to three devices. So if you were to split the cost with 2 other friends, that's only about three dollars a month for unlimited music downloads. When you first open up the app there is a classic menu: artists, songs, and albums. Another feature it offers is "Rhapsody" radio channels. This function is similar to Pandora. The best part is though, that since you're paying for it, you can skip as many tracks as you want without the annoying ads. There is also a music guide section. This allows you to hooked up to wifi, the songs download pretty quickly. For the mot part, "Rhapsody" has what I'm looking for. Their library has a wide variety of music available. The only thing that I wish they had done differently is the way they show songs are downloading. There isn't a specific page dedicated to showing a song's progress, This makes it a little difficult to tell how much longer you have until everything is finished downloading. But overall, "Rhapsody" is a great app. If you're sick of paying a dollar per song, I'd suggest explore the entire "Rhapsody" library and find new bands you might like. Also, any "Rhapsody" subscriber has the ability to publish playlists for everyone to see. This makes it easy to explore new music through other people's suggestions. You can either stream music using your cellular service or download songs to be played at a later time when you don't have a connection. When looking into installing the "Rhapsody" app on your phone. This app is extremely convenient and useful. get a sweeter life without the other. Throughout this film the characters join to make an overall sweeter life, while including the necessary ups and downs. If you go to see this movie, you will be in for a sweet surprise. This is by far one of the best, original, movies in a long time. No, it was not based off another movie; it was not a remake, not a prequel or sequel, just original. Original wrapped in a candy coated wrapper, in fact there was a game made based off of the movie, rather than the expected reverse situation. However, no movie is perfectly sublime; "Wreck It Ralph" came with its own flaws. Certain characters went turbo too soon and others should have been introduced sooner and had a greater part in 'Snapchat' sharing pictures with friends An original and sweet movie! Connor Ross A&E Editor "Snapchat." Yes, it is as easy as that; just snap a picture of anything you want and send it to your friends. You are able to type a short phrase or sentence to put on you picture, but you are only able to type a certain amount of words. That's the only down side to it. Also you can draw onto the pictures with your fingers. You're able to choose from multiple different colors, choosing from a rainbow bar. There is a little catch with "Snapchat" though, you are only able to send your picture to your friend from 1-10 seconds. After they view it for the amount of time you have set it for it will erase forever and they can not look at it again. It goes both ways so once you view their picture for the time they set it just one of those essential apps that every phone that is able to download apps, must have. It's basically one of those lame apps that could entertain you for hours. Just taking pictures of random things, Just one of those pointless apps for you can't look at it again either. "Snapchat" came out a while ago on the app store for free, but it now seems like it is picking up a lot more as of late. It is Page 3 November 16, 2012 the film. Though the buildup was fantastic, it may have taken too much of the movie up, causing the climax and resolution to be rather short and stunted. These few flaws were irrelevant to the overall movie, the story line was overall fantastic and the graphics were unbelievably clear. Each character had a unique voice that brought it to life in an unbelievable way. Sarah Silverman was phenomenal in how she made every word filled with its own depth and meaning. Overall, this is a movie for families, friends and bittersweet enemies to see, it is worth every dollar to see in theaters, and will be a fantastic gift when it comes out on DVD. Entertainment catching a moment that you think is hilarious, share it with your friends, and it will never get old. It is also extremely easy to find your friends so you don't have to type their names in one by one. All you need to do is go to "find friends" and if you have your friends phone number in your phone it will automatically update them to your "Snapchat." "Snapchat" is fun and addictive. This could be an app of the year with all the fun you could have, and trust me you don't want to be that one person who doesn't have this app. Great music app a for low cost. Dr. Seuss wrote "Green Eggs and Ham" after his editor dared him to write a book using fewer than 50 different words.
