The Press-Dispatch School Wednesday, October 25, 2017 C- 7 Kyle Eckert, Pike County dispatcher and JTFD volunteer fire fighter, gave a run down of the fire truck to a group of students for Fire Prevention week. Above and Right: Pike Central eighth grade classes participated in the Tour of Opportunity. They were split up into four different groups and visited several different businesses in Pike County. Kyle Eckert suited up to give the students reas- surance that there is nothing to be afraid of when it comes to a fire fighter. Collaborating together with their Chrombooks! Doug Mounts JTFD fire fighter shows a group one of the many powerful tools on the fire truck. Life Line Missions President Mike Hadley and his daughter Paige surprised OMA students with a car load of new balls and bats and other gym equipment. These new items will be put to good use!
