The boys had a pretty successful preseason although they did not start off with the greatest beginning losing their first game to West Valley. Only, the team never gave up, continuing into their season they started to click and work together more as a team. James Harris, sophomore, was asked, "What game stood out to you the most in pre-season?", he answered, "I think our best game was against West Valley in the Anderson Tournament, we played together very well and beat them by 20 after we lost to them the previous time." The team only got better as they kept going with a few losses here and there but that is part of being a team, you win and lose together. Going into league Valentin Ramirez, sophomore, who has been playing basketball for 3 years and is this years starting point guard says "I hope we go undefeated in league."
