edge too. Especially with Orlando Bloom. He played his role so well, you can't help but physically hate him. However, the only downside to the movie is the king. He made me cringe throughout the whole movie, but I don't know if that is what he was meant to do. It was as if I could feel his awkwardness myself. Although, his actor career will most likely go down in infamy on how well he portrays an awkward twelve- year old boy; he's about twenty-three. The movie was amazing other than that, and I'd watch it again. At first, I thought this movie was going to be cheesy because the idea of the three musketeers is so overdone, and the movies usually f lop in the box office. So I thought, when it was first presented on Netf lix, why not. I absolutely loved this movie. It was funny and filled with an even amount of action and romance. I mean the fighting scenes were pretty cool, especially when Milady, the female character, started fighting because you'd never expect to see that from a noblewoman; well, she tends to fool a lot of people in this movie. That's what makes her so great. The Three Musketeers on the other hand were perfectly played by its actors. Athos, one of the three, had a unique spin put on his character that I really appreciated. Aramis, my favorite musketeer, also had the same, except he was a man of God, and the directors seemed to pronounce that as a way to contradict the fact that he kills for a living. Each character was well thought out and the actors were amazing with bringing their roles to life. As of special effects, they were pretty lifelike. The explosions and warships didn't seem fake, and they tried to include every aspect of reality within the scenes, which must have taken forever. The plot will keep you on Bluffer Staff Pick 'The Three Musketeers' Page 4 January 27, 2017 "The three musketeers, on the other hand, were perfecly played by its actors." Arts and Entertainment Marissa Mills Staff Writer 'The Bye Bye Man', a thriller/horror movie written by Jonathan Penner and directed by Stacy Title, mashes together elements of other horror films into a mediocre and cringe worthy box office production. The film is based on a chapter from Robert Damon's Schnecks book The President's Island titled "The Bridge to Body Island" and offers an hour and a half of amateur acting and run- of-the-mill special effects. If you're looking to waste some time for a few forced laughs, then The Bye Bye Man is the movie for you. The acting in the movie isn't terrible, but it isn't anywhere close to college students attempting to outwit the boogeyman by trying to pretend he doesn't exist quickly unfolds. Elliot, Sasha, and John move into an off campus house and their friend Jenna, who is a psychic, begins to feel that the house has unwanted guests. The phrase, "don't think it, don't say it" appears scribbled on a piece of paper, which is where the plot begins to build up some momentum but stumbles with poorly executed fright scenes that are far too silly to pass as a horror film. Although there were a few good aspects to the film such as the scene in which a coat was hanging on the wall and appeared to be a creepy hooded figure, that turned out not to be, then actually became a creepy hooded figure. The Bye Bye Man was a box office f lop and hopefully it will go bye bye for good. exceptional. A cast of many unknown actors and actresses who make up the film such as Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas, Carrie- Ann Moss, and Lucien Laviscount lack the necessary emotion required for a horror film. The stereotypical teenage characters of a jock, goth, and nerd shouldn't be so hard to execute, but it proved to be a challenge for this cast due to a poorly written script. Faye Dunaway, the dark and mysterious widow who seems to hold all the secrets of the Bye Bye man does her best to add some quality to the film. The movie opens with an e n i g m a t i c s c e n e o f mass murder in the 1960's then shifts the focus back to present day. 'Diary of an Oxygen 'Gardenscapes - New Acres' entices players Aly Smith Staff Writer Becca Frey Topics Editor 'Diary of an Oxygen Thief 'was a book I found one day at Barnes & Nobles. Completely unexpected, but I'd read the first line and I was hooked. This book is absolutely beautiful. It doesn't distort reality like every other romantic novel that gives you false ideals of how men are and what women the characters yourself. You could see the scenes playing in your head, as if you're watching them head for their doom, and find yourself screaming, "No, turn back. You still have a chance to walk away." I wish the author hadn't been put as anonymous, so he could receive my praise. This book is one of the best books I have read in years. Not only is it a good read, but it helps you understand people more and the reasons for their actions. should be. This book shows the dark, gritty side of humanity. How humans love to destroy even though, sometimes, we don't realize it. The author of this book told his life story about the way he likes to hurt women, and how a woman named karma made it back his way. What makes this book so great is it lets people into the mind of people who has hurt others for pleasure. Although, this book does have its odd parts. If someone's Grandma were to read this, they'd reach for their cross. It wouldn't be allowed in the library for sure, but it emcompasses what really is in our society today; sex, drugs, and pain, but also retribution. This book isn't as dark as it sounds. It is so funny, I caught myself smiling and giggling most times alone in my room. The way he uses imagery and allusion, you feel like you know Intense, dark, and a great read. 'The Bye Bye Man' mediocre, 'Gardenscapes- New Acres' is an app developed by Playrix Games and that has almost four and a half stars on the Google Play store. It's a free game that has a cute storyline and funny characters, including a cute little puppy! When the game is first downloaded, it opens with the start of the story, where the gamer is unhappy with a city life and wishes to move out to somewhere more country-side. The gamer gets a call from a relative's butler who says that they have inherited the mansion and giant garden that the relative has left behind. With the butler, a silly but caring character named Austin, the gamer begins to restore the garden through Candy Crush- like games. You have to complete certain tasks in an allowed number of moves or certain amount of time, and each level offers a different variety of tasks that gets increasingly more challenging as you complete more levels. After beating levels, the gamer gets stars, which allow them to complete tasks to work on the garden. With lovely designs and a warm atmosphere, Gardenscapes is a fun game- until you reach a hard level, that is. You can spend hours or even days on a certain level that's almost impossible to do, which can be extremely frustrating. You can get boosters to help you with levels that you eventually beat, but it's infuriating that you can't move forward in gameplay until you complete the level. Other than the difficult levels, the game is pleasant and cheerful. It's especially fun Challenging and frustrating, but cute storyline and gameplay. when you get to do things and make decisions to design the garden to your own choosing. I recommend this game to anybody who wants to play a cute and warm-feeling game. However, make sure you have the patience for the harder levels you'll have to complete later in the gameplay! Grueling competition in sequel 'Titanfall 2' Amanda Waugh Cartoonist As many of you may know Titanfall 2 was released October 28, 2016, and has become an increasingly addictive game that allows you to play the Campaign or against other people. For those who are new to the game you can choose between a sprint boost or phasing out of existence as your tactical. Depending on who you are playing is depending on which tactical is best. You also have your primary and secondary weapons upon which you generally will want to acquire one weapon to fight against pilots and one to fight Titans. A pilot is typically another player while titans are mechs the player controls. There are also grenades and a boost which gives something depending on a certain charge you are on while getting your Titan. In all there are the 6 following Titans: Ion, Scorch, Ronin, Northstar, Tone, and Legion. Scorch and Legion defend areas heavily, Ion is a trapper and auto rifle, and Tone is a missile launcher type. Each titan has a unique fighting style and there are many strategies you can use. A tip is to use certain titans on different maps. An important thing to remember while playing is that titans can instant kill pilots while pilots can deal serious damage to titans. A good example of a strategy would be to wait until your opponent handles their Titan before you use your own, that way you know what you are up against and be able to have an advantage. Although you may have a favorite Titan that you like to play, you should do your best to become skilled with each Titan so you have less weaknesses while playing. Not only am I learning to play but my brother and all his friends make playing Titanfall 2 a competitive competition that keeps this game interesting and worth playing. His favorite Titan is scorch because he can trap other Titans and burn them. I highly recommend this game if you prefer competitive and addicting games. Amazon.com looking for challenge ief ': breathtaking Unique and amazing remake! It's a very competitive and highly addicting game!
