Wright, 75, of Shelby passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home. Burial was held in Cleveland Memorial Park. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death her parents, William Calvin and Alice Pirkle Stinchcomb; her son, Gary Wright; sister, Inez Blanton and brother, Clarence Stinchcomb. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James L. Wright of the home; two sons, Michael E. Wright and wife Cynthia of Lawndale and Kenneth Wright of Shelby; two daughters, Linda W. Greene and husband Larry of Kings Mountain and Janice Greene and husband Ronnie of Polkville; three sisters, Willie Mae Hicks of Shelby, Evelyn Hannon of Kings Mountain, Shirley Boggus of Shelby; three brothers, Curtis Stinchcomb of GA., Freddie Stinchcomb and Jimmy C. Stinchcomb and wife Pat, all of Fallston; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister in law, Shirley S. Stinchcomb of Shelby. Mr. George Kenneth Blue, Jr., 78, of Lawndale, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012. A memori- al service was held at Shelby Presbyterian Church. Mr. Blue served our coun- try in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Kenneth Blue, Sr. and Mary Anne Steele Blue and an infant brother, Daniel Steele Blue. He is survived by beloved wife, Joy Godfrey Blue, of the home; his four children, Mary Bonnie Blue and her husband Stephen Butt of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Dr. George Kenneth Blue, III and his wife Virginia of Lawrenceburg, TN and Dr. Jeffrey Godfrey Blue and his wife Sarah of Atchison, KS., by Elizabeth (Beth) Jo Blue and her husband Joe Graf of Alexandria, VA; three sisters, Beth Foster and her husband Robert of Edisto Island, SC, Mary Anne Crocker and hus- band O'Niel of Charleston, SC and Judy Proctor of Saluda, SC and five grand- children.
