Cleveland County Library New Children's Books Cleveland County Library, 104 Howie Dr., Shelby has just received a gift of 100 new children's books, ranging from pre-kinder- garten through early readers. These books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York, interested in fostering early reading, a love of books and encouraging parents and children to read together. The library has a special display of these books at the front of the children's area of the Library. The titles were chosen by Lori Special, State Library Consultant for Children's Services. Out of the 100 books, less than 20 were copies of the books that were already in the library collection.
