Smith, 81, of Rutherford County passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. A Celebration of Life service was held at chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home. Burial was held in Cleveland Memorial Park with military rites. Mr. Smith served our country in the U.S. Army dur- ing the Korean War and was a POW.
