Hurricane Emily...As I mentioned last week, the tropics are getting active. Now we have Hurricane Emily approaching Florida, the Bahamas or the Southeast coast this weekend. But at this time I can’t say for sure where its headed. It looks like Emily will brush Florida or maybe just stay offshore, but forecasting tracks of Hurricanes is about the hardest of all weather forecasting, so stay tuned to my blog. Beach-goers will get wet from the storm, and experience high waves regardless of whether she makes landfall. For those of us inland, we’ll at least have afternoon thunderstorms this weekend just from a dying front in the area, which will knock our high heat back to more normal levels.
