Wouldn’t it be nice to relax, watch a movie and take a moment to breathe? Well you can at the Neal Senior Center located at 100 TR Harris Drive, Shelby, NC 28150 with an old holiday hit – “It Happened on 5th Avenue,” which stars Don DeFore, Charlie Ruggles and Victor Moore. Synopsis: Home for the holidays! GI families hit by the post World War II housing crunch take over an aban- doned New York City mansion. Enjoy the movie free with the donation of a non- perishable food item for the Food Pantry otherwise it will cost $1 to see the movie. That’s a real deal that you don’t want to miss. Tax Preparation Once again the Service Department of the Council on Aging will offer free Tax preparation service. AARP Will be coordinating this much needed service, starting in mid February 2011 through April 15, 2011.
