Things that can be eaten The Football Field Have you ever been on a football field? It is huge, isn’t it? The average football field measures an incredible 120 yards x 160 feet. The field is divided into three areas: the playing field and the end zones. The playing field is where most of the action takes place. It is 100 yards long and divided in half at the 50-yard line. From there, yard markers are placed in each section at the 40-yard line, 30-yard line and so forth. The end zones are where touchdowns take place.
