Where: Hanna Park, 1655 McBrayer-Springs Rd., Shelby, NC. More Info: The 5K, the fun run/walk, both with dogs welcome to run/walk with you! Awards, event tees and prizes! Clifford's Army Rescue (C.A.R.E) will be hosting a 5K run, a 5K run with your dog, and a fun walk/run with or without your four legged friend or volunteer to walk one of the many CARE rescue dogs who are up for adoption. Need a dessert for Thanksgiving? We will have the world famous Clifford's Army Bake Sale going on! How about pictures with SANTA, and or the GRINCH, with your four legged and/or two legged family? We got you covered. Kids want to play?? We will have a Bouncy house and huge slide for the kiddos. Face Painting, Balloon Artist. There will also be over 25 vendors to start you Holiday Shopping. Food truck and a DJ playing your favorite hits. This will be quite the fun Fall festival. All of this to help Clifford's Army Rescue, a group that works so hard to help the neglected, the feral, the frightened, and the dogs who would not make it out of county shelters. We work to rehab both medical and physical and then fi nd forever homes for those who otherwise would not have had a chance. CARE is an all volun- teer, 501c3 non-profi t dog rescue. ~ANNOUNCEMENTS~ Nar-Anon Support Group: Meets 6:30 pm w eekly on Tuesdays at the First Baptist Church, 120 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC. Nar-Anon is a support group for those affected by someone else's drug addiction. We meet in the classroom off Dale St. between Sumter & Campbell St. Park on the side of the church or in the alley. Al-Anon Support Group : Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG) support friends and family members that have been affected by someone's drinking and drug use.
