A native of Cleveland County, she was born on, May 28, 1934, daughter of the late Cletus Almond and Zuda Brooks McSwain. In addition to her parents, he is preceded in death by her husband, Unee Crawford Walker, three siblings, Arlin McSwain, Eda Humphries, and Donnis Jenkins, and one granddaughter. Mrs. Walker is survived by three children, Wanda Causby and husband Tommy, Dana Walker and wife Tammy, Mark Walker and wife Debbie all of Shelby, five grandchildren and seven great grandchil- dren. He was born May 31, 1936, in Cleveland County to the late Marcus Zone and Mattie Moore Neal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Sims Neil; sister, Ruby Neill Eaker; and brothers, Thomas "Babe" Neal, Buford Neil, Charles Neal, Giles Neill, and Gerald "Chick" Neill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Jean Morrison, and her older sis- ter Delores Wagley. Jane is survived by her daughter, Amy Minnix Goforth (Sam), her son, M. BARBARA JANE MURPHY ARCHIE Barbara Jane Murphy Archie passed away on October 1, 2023. She was born May 4, 1942 in Cleveland County, to the late Lawrence B. and Effie Browning Murphy. Barbara was also preced- ed in death by her husband, George Archie and two siblings, Carolyn Murphy Webber and Frank Lee Murphy. She is survived by her sis- ter, Lottie Murphy Sanders, Shelby, NC. Funeral services were held October 22, 2023, at S.T. Enloe Chapel. RONNIE SCHIRRA WOODY Mr. Ronnie Schirra Woody, 60, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Born in Gaston County, he was the son of the late Bobby G. Woody and Rachel Lowery Woody. Mr. Woody served our country in the U.S. Marine Corp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beulah Ann Gingles; brothers, Bobby Woody, Jr. and Ronald Lee Wilson; and paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Eula Mae Woody of Shelby, NC; two sons, Dominique Woody of Shelby, NC and Devonté Phelps (Jasmine); one daughter, Evonne Hopper (Walter) of Shelby; three brothers, Umar Moore and Michael Woody (Jackie) both of Shelby and Larry Woody (Karen) of Norfolk, VA; a sister, Kathy Woody Whitworth of Hickory; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. KIMBERLY ANN BLACK MINOWICZ Kimberly Ann Black Minowicz, 49, Shelby passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. Born June 3, 1974 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of Wray Larry Black and the late Diane Hendrick Black. Kim is survived by her husband, Thomas "Tommy" David Minowicz; daughter, Katie Minowicz; son, Zach Minowicz; and brother, Chris Black and wife, Angela of Shelby.
