Jeff Ly- ons invited the students and staff to the studio to show how things work behind the scenes and give the kids some pointers. The stu- dents had the opportunity to meet several of the staff and ask ques- tions. They also were able to hold Channel 14 News' Grammy Award and speak with Jay Hiett, VP and General Manager, who jokingly tried to hire some of the Winslow students. Winslow students vis- it WFIE TV "The whole Channel 14 News staff was so welcoming and an- swered all of the students questions," Brittany Russell. "They loved it that the WES students main interest was the script. The students wanted to have actual copies of the script even though it is all dig- ital.
