Michel earns blue
ribbon at State Fair
Kimber Michel, three-year

oneers of Fort Branch, earned
a blue ribbon and orange mer-
it ribbon, at the Indiana State
Fair, highest in her ageship for
her cake decorating project.
She qualified for state fair
by winning a blue ribbon and
Championship at the Gibson
County Fair in July.
She is the daughter of Stu-
art and Krissie Michel of Fort
Branch and granddaughter
of Sherr y Marginette of Fort
Branch.
Summer Car Show
in Oakland City
Mom's Diner continued the
summer car show series in Oak-
land City Friday with live music,
cars, food and more. The Friday
car shows benefit the East Gibson
Food Pantr y, and had approxi-
mately 35 car registrations. Left,
