Peter and Paul Catholic School COMMUNITY SCHOOL LUNCH MENU Tuesday, Sept. 6: Chicken Wrap, Cucumber and Pep- per, Side Salad, Baked Cin- namon Apples, Baked Chips and Milk. Wednesday, Sept. 7: Chicken Smackers, Mashed Potatoes, and Gravy Corn, Sliced Pears, Hot Roll and Milk. Thursday, Sept. 8: Nacho Supreme, Refried Beans, Salsa Hot Roll, Romaine Sal- ad, Orange Slices and Milk. Friday, Sept. 9: Cheese Pizza, Green Beans, Carrot Sticks, Peaches and Milk. Monday, Sept. 12: Cal- zone, Green Beans, Carrot Sticks, Cinnamon Apple- sauce, Yogurt and Milk. Tuesday, Sept. 13: Chick- en on the Beach Side Salad, Refried Beans, Salsa and Chips, Strawberries and Milk. Fort Branch Comm. School Ms. Christy Wendt chose Tyler Hedge as the K-2 Twig of the Week. Tyler is off to a great start in 2nd grade. He always makes a point to say thank you when he is given some- thing, showing his good manners. He works well with others and I look forward to seeing his academic progress this year. Mr. Scott Putler chose Carter Munnier as the 3-5 Twig of the Week. Carter is very re- spectful to his teach- ers and his classmates. He follows directions during class. Carter puts forth his best ef- fort in each subject throughout the day. It is great to have Carter here at FBCS. Mrs. Tricia Snow chose 6th grader Jes- sie Weaver as the Mid- dle School Twig of the Week. Jesse is new to FBCS this year and has been working very hard in class. He is excited about learning and ea- ger to share what he is reading and learning about. He is thoughtful and considerate, and is always in a pleasant mood! We are happy to have Jesse at FBCS. TWIGS OF THE WEEK Above: Journee Spindler and Dalton Schmitt work on their crosses in their classroom Right: The Fourth grade Sts. Peter and Paul class met their new intern last week! Mrs. Sarah Foster's son, Luke Foster, will in- tern with the Fourth grade class this year. Tucker Lowry and Kirsten Hulfachor work together on their reading assignment. Fourth graders Krew Dilger and Paige Schleter help each other with a reading assignment. Mrs. Samantha Beard helps Fourth graders, Bailey Spindler and Callie Wilson with an art project. Sts. Peter and Paul fifth grade students made half portraits of themselves for Open House. They did an excellent job. The third, fourth and fifth grades at Sts. Peter and Paul made stain glass cross- es for our Diocesan Theme display. Letters were cut out to say "I am the Bread of Life.", Each student made a cross using a specific color for their grade., It looks amazing in our hallway.
