"And you will see the Son of Man sit- ting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." The high priest tore his clothes. "Why do we need any more witnesses?" he asked. Of course, it's easy to be- come too focused on the here and now—finding time for the things that matter most to us. But Ecclesiastes 3:11, says that God has "set eternity" in our hearts—reminding us to make a priority of things that are eternal. That can bring us face to face with something of the greatest importance— God's eternal perspective "from beginning to end." When she sees danger, she begins to cluck/chirp to her little ones, they in turn run to the shelter under her wings. Their safety, depends upon how quickly they obey her call. It's not the time to be disobedient or independent. They may pay with their lives. If that enemy gets to close, Momma will tr y flogging it. Putting herself at risk for the safety of her chicks. When it comes to ser ving the Lord, we need to be more like little chicks. ≠Quick to answer the call and not paying for our in- dependence with our lives.
