Horace Dillon and Joyce Ashby were married in Vincennes by Rev. James Wilcher, on June 14, 1952. Their atten- dants were Royce Pride and the late Lavonne Dillon Pride. They have two sons, Greg (Jana) Dillon, of Newburgh and Pat (Joni) Dillon, of Otwell. Also, four grandchil- dren, Abby (Jake) Warnsman, Andrea (Chad) Hoch- gesang, Tyler (Shanique) Dillon and Breanna (Kyle) Pershon. Their great-grandchildren are Daisy and Belle Warnsman, Corbin, Lennon and Gibson Hochgesang and Aiden Dillon. Hedge-Steele Michael and Joy Hedge, of Monroe city announced the wedding of their son Michael Hedge to Melissa Steele daughter of Paul and Roxanna Waggoner, of Shoals. The couple will be united in marriage on, July 2, 2022, at Patoka Lake in Birdseye, at 11 a.m. Michael Edward Hedge, 42, of 414 N. 12th St., Pe- tersburg, son of Michael R. Hedge and Edith L. Dick to Melissa Darlene Steele, 40, of 404 N. 12th St., Pe- tersburg, daughter of Paul Waggoner and Roxanne Waggoner. 60th Wedding Anniversary Jim and Karen Williams of Winslow, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversar y on Saturday, June 18, at the Jordan Park in Spurgeon with an open house. Jim and Karen were married June 10, 1962 in Spurgeon. They are the parents of Scott Williams, of Winslow; Darrin Williams, of Cor ydon; Diane Skalko, of Foley, Ala.; and Craig Williams, of Carmel. They have nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. BRADFIELD REUNION The Bradfield reunion will be Saturday, June 25 at noon, at the Otwell Community Center. Table service will be provided. 64TH ANNUAL RUSSELL REUNION The ancestors of Her- schel and Edith E. (Hop- per) Russell will be hav- ing their 64th Russell Reunion on July 10, at the Muren Church of God in Winslow, 901 E. State Road 64, Winslow. There will be door prizes and prizes for the oldest, youngest, and fur thest traveled. A car- r y-in lunch will be ser ved at noon (12 pm Pike Coun- ty time). All family and friends are welcome. Bailey named to Franklin College president's list Quindelyn Bailey, of Petersburg was named to Franklin Col- lege president's list for the spring 2022 semester. Students named to the president's list have achieved academ- ic distinction by earning a perfect 4.0 grade point average while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours during a regular se- mester. Dillon awarded Farm Bureau scholarship Pike County Farm Bureau, Inc an- nounces their $1000 Scholarship award winner for 2022 is Logan Beau Dillon of Otwell. Logan is the son of Norman and Car- rie Jean Dillon, also of Otwell. Logan is a 2022 graduate of Pike Central High School and plans to attend Vincennes University or University of Southern In- diana to major in Mechanical Engineer- ing. Logan has contributed to his commu- nity as a volunteer and member with Pike County 4-H, Otwell Ruitan, Future Farmer's of America, Pike Central Bass Fishing Team, Pike County Bird Hunt- ers Club, Otwell Methodist Church and several more organizations. He also held several jobs while keeping his grades strong.
