A-4 Tuesday, May 24, 2022 South Gibson Star-Times STORM DAMAGE Duke Energy reported 43000 customers had lost power due to winds in Indi- ana this weekend. Ind. 65, between Owensville and Cynthiana, had large trees blocking the way Friday. Owensville town worker Don Crabtree told the Star Times the town had just one or two big trees down, that it was mostly branches and not much actual damage. A worker checks out damage in Fort Branch at Main and Locust. Fort Branch town workers Tony Graham and Roger Montgomery work to clear after Thursday night's storm. In Fort Branch a large tree obscures a porch. Trees also closed areas of Fort Branch Community Park. A tree blocks the road at Walnut and West, in Fort Branch. Storms wracked the area over the weekend, with tornado watches issued Thursday night, and severe storm warnings Friday through Sunday. Scott Walden photo
