Pike Central High School celebrated Ag Week early on Friday, March 18, prior to Spring Break this week. Ag Day recognizes and celebrates the contribution of agricul- ture in our everyday lives. Thank You Suzanne & Wayne Cooper Angela & John Heuring John Alan Bellamy & Families JACK DOUGLAS RIDDLE Jack Douglas Riddle, 63, of Petersburg, entered into rest to hold his grandchildren in Heaven on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Deaconess Gate- way Hospital in Newburgh. He was born on March 1, 1959, in Columbus, to the late Delbert A. Riddle and Mary A. (Rafferty) Riddle. He was a member of Glezen Revival Center in Petersburg for several years. He was a master carpenter, building the rooms and kitchen at the Lighthouse Recovery Center and ran Riddle's Construction since 1962. In his later years, he worked for J. Kirk Wright at Buchta Trucking Company. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley Davidson and being in nature. He is survived by his wife, Peach Riddle; son, J.D. (Kalee) Riddle; sisters, Jana (Chris) Craig and Carol (Mar- shall) West; and brother, Don Riddle. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sha- ron Day. No service will take place at this time. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Friends may send a memo- rial contribution to the fami- ly at Glezen Revival Center in Petersburg. ROBERT DALE McGILLEM Robert Dale "Bobby Dale" McGillem, 87, of Oakland City, entered into rest on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born in Oakland City on March 13, 1935, to Charles Jack and Hazel (Crowe) Mc- Gillem. He worked at Whirlpool in Evansville for 38 years, re- tiring in 1994 as an inspec- tor. While at Whirlpool, he earned the nickname "Mag- gie." He loved sports, horse racing and gambling. He is survived by a son, Johnny McGillem; a brother, Jim McGillem; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronnie Mc- Gillem; sisters, Lorene Sloan, Marybelle Wade, Emmalou Adams and Wilma Jean McGil- lem; and brothers, Charles Jr. and Denzil McGillem. No service will take place. The family will have a private viewing and cremation will fol- low, with burial to be at a lat- er date. Lamb-Basham is entrust- ed with his care.
