Mrs. Emily Hudson (Mad Scientist) gives the kindergarten stu- dents a Science lesson on matter. Vivien Vogler mixes up her own oo- bleck. The students read "Bartholomew and the Oobleck" and then got to make their own oobleck. The kindergarten students help put away the gym mat after they finish their minds-in-motion activities. Kadyn Dupin, Adalynn Martin and Braylee Schuessler have fun playing a game during indoor recess. Cade Russell and Anesha Rhodes toss bean bags during their minds-in-motion activity. Brogan Dent from Mrs. El- liott's third grade class passed all his multiplication facts. Petersburg Elementary fifth grade was visited by Deputy McKinney, Deputy Seger, and Bleck as part of their DARE program. Mrs. Miller's First Grade Class has fun using tennis balls in class. They use the balls while they practice counting, spelling words and just to work on hand-eye coordination. "Dr. Phil" helps Bryleigh Fox with a virtual cannon simulation. The 4th grade student learned about vari- ables and angles. Officer Don Wilson's wife, Marie Wilson came in to Petersburg Elementary to show us about her job. We are learning about our body systems.
