Thursday, Dec. 2: Loaded nachos, refried beans, romaine salad, sal- sa, breadstick, Sidekicks and milk. Friday, Dec. 3: Stuffed- crust cheese pizza, green beans, carrot sticks, peaches and milk. Monday, Dec. 6: Cal- zones, yogurt cup, green beans, carrot sticks, cin- namon applesauce and milk. Tuesday, Dec. 7: Chick- en on the Beach, refried beans, side salad, chips and salsa, strawberries and milk. Bentlee Brown was the 'Game Changer' in ele- mentary physical education last week. Bentlee is a third grade student in Mrs. Hasenour's class who has shown a great attitude and good effort during P.E. class. Ms. Dawson chose Lezlie Huante for the K- 2 Twig of the Week. Lez- lie has made great prog- ress in her academics this year. She is very thoughtful and goes out of her way to help oth- ers. I am glad to have her as part of my class this year. Mrs. Williams chose Gage Cochran as the 3-5 Twig of the Week. Gage is always working hard and trying his best in 3rd grade. Gage has done great to improve himself in reading group and done great on our practice Iread test and only missed 3! Way to go Gage! Mr. Sellers chose eight grader Nick Ear- nest for the Middle School Twig of the Week. Nick comes in every day and does his morning job and morning work with no complaints. He is nice to his classmates and staff. Nick is a joy to have in class and al- ways has good insight into the topics we are discussing. Some of the FBCS football players were able to get their hands on some GSHS hardware: first football semi-state championship trophy in school history. Eighth grade future Titans. CALENDAR Thursday, Dec. 2: 4:30 p.m. Girls' basketball (fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth) at home versus Owensville; 5:30 p.m. - Boys' basketball (sev- enth and eighth) at Wood Memorial Junior High School. Monday, Dec. 6: 5:30 p.m. Girls' basketball (fifth and sixth) at Brum- field Elementary; 5:30 p.m. Girls' basketball (seventh and eighth) at home versus Princeton. Tuesday, Dec. 7: 6 p.m. in gymnasium - K-8 Christmas program (ap- proximately 30 minute program). Nolan's mom joined the celebration and brought in a yummy snack for the class. She also read a story to the kin- dergarten class. Nolan loved sharing some of his fa- vorite toys, too. My name is Jerry. I am five years old and a kindergartener in Mrs. Williamson's class- room. My favorite color is blue. My favorite food is tacos. My favorite sport is soccer. My hob- bies are: playing "Fort- nite" and "Minecraft," swinging at the park, playing rocket league and playing soccer with mom. When I grow up, I want to be a soccer play- er. Mrs. Hoefling's class wears neon clothes to show their future is bright. Miss Mayer's first grade enjoyed collecting canned goods for those in need.
